The McElderry Park community is bounded by E. Monument St. tot he North, N. Linwood Ave. to the East, E. Fayette St. to the South and N. Patterson Park Ave. to the West.

Among the assets in the neighborhood, is the McElderry Park Community Resource Center. It is located at 611 N. Montford Ave. and acts as the base of operations for the McElderry Park Community Association.

McElderry Park Community Meetings are held every 3rd Wednesday of the month at 6pm. Meetings are open to all community residents, businesses and stakeholders. Come hear community updates, presentations from partners, and share with your neighbors. These meetings alternate between the Resource Center and Prince of Peace Church at 600 N. Linwood Ave. Please check the events caledar.

The Resource Center is also a frequent gathering place for community events, programs, committee meetings and partnering community groups.

The MPCA is seeking volunteers to help the Resource Center be open to the community and allow for use of the small computer. Print literature about a variety of local issues and services, postings for events and opportunities and access to community leaders are also at the building. Currently Habitat for Humanity, the Julie Community Center’s GED & Moving to the Middle Program and the McElderry Park CSAFE Program operate out of the space.
